How long is the warranty and what does it cover?
Every Benling watch carries a 1 Year warranty, counted from the day it is delivered. It covers manufacturing defects in the movement and the watch functions. It does not cover scratches, knocks and drops, water damage from misuse, or repairs done by anyone other than Benling. Keep your order confirmation as proof of purchase, and use the Contact page if anything stops working.
Is the Benling Legacy Chrono Automatic Watch for Men with Leather Strap – A Masterpiece of Mechanical Precision water resistant?
This model is rated 5 ATM. Treat that as protection against everyday splashes, rain and washing your hands: ratings are measured in a lab and are not a licence to dive. Whatever the rating, keep the watch out of hot showers and saunas, never press buttons or pull the crown out under water, and rinse it with fresh water after the sea or a pool.
Does it need a battery or winding?
